The Image Bank is an archive of images collected by teachers and national coordinators in the six countries that participated in this curriculum development project. It is divided into two parts: a section of artists' images and a section of children's images. The section of artists' images contains a collection of works by international, contemporary artists, along with technical specifications, short critiques and links to relevant websites. The teachers used many of these works during the Images and Identity action research, and information about how to use them can be found in the lesson plans. The artists' images are broadly categorized into six sections, according to country, and then again according to artists' names. The section of children's images showcases many works produced by pupils in different countries during the Action Research. They are first categorized according to country and then further classified by teachers' surnames. In addition to technical specifications, each image is accompanied by a lesson title, in order to facilitate navigation between the Image Bank and Schemes of Work in these training materials.
